I don't own an Impreza, and even though I meet with the Lewisville guys I am always interested in meeting Subie owners and confusing them with my SVX!

I'm sure you will read the Lewisville thread. I was trying to make a point about talking about cars instead of making useless small talk. The Lewisville meet thread should be renamed to Txic off topic. This thread should be used for people that have legitimate questions or concerns about their Subaru around Frisco.

Let's get it together. There's plenty of open parking by the Blue Goose, Burger Girl, etc. Once we get a few more people looking at this thread we can take a pole of what day would be good and a location.

Well I am moving to Plano, so Frisco is not too far from my new place. Maybe you guys can help me with ideas for what I should do next. Also once I get a new job I may just find an impreza with an ej18 or ej22 for the daily. Would love to have 2 Subarus!

Yep it runs, it's paid for, and I can't ever get what I want for it. I love the car, and plan on fixing it up once I have the money. I already have new wheels to go on, just need some tires. I am kind of between jobs right now so I can focus on it more once I have a steady income again. It doesn't need too much, other than a few minor fixes and a fresh coat of paint. I want to see your wagon.

Sorry man. I didn't mean to jump on you. The thing is that most of us have been meeting for over a year now. You run out of subaru topics at a certain point.

A lot of us have quit a bit of technical knowledge on hand. If you have a question, or want to strike up a good tech talk we are all more than happy to converse.

No worries. I was tired yesterday and not in the greatest of moods. I figured we need another local thread because I live in Frisco and I see a lot of impreza owners over here. If the Frisco meet takes off maybe we can combine the two every few weeks. I'm just trying to fit in somewhere because I gave up the street bike life and I rode with 10-15 people frequently. Yes I have a lot of unanswered questions about my car. Bought it with 9k miles and was stage 2 + Sf before I knew it. I'm trying to keep all my mods Cobb because they make great products. I have everything Cobb except the Spt cbe. I will be getting the PW intercooler soon.

if i remember correctly its got the flat 6, 5mt, and awd right?

haha the wagon isn't much of a looker, but it gets the job done

Several have swapped in 5 speeds and even 6 speeds. I am probably taking mine up to PA for the big SVX meet up there and then getting it done. It is expensive though, but everyone says well worth it after. These cars are pigs so shedding some of the weight from the 4eat is great. Mine has 4.44 gearing and is pretty fun as opposed to the 3.54 that was stock, but you can't beat a 5 speed. I am very interested in the legacy trans for 300 in houston, but I don't have the means to go there right now and I would need the matching rear diff.

Most likely axles, hubs, and baked as well. Witch is why I built my 5 speed up a little instead of doing a 6 speed. Unless you are going over 400 HP I would just get an 08+ 5 speed.
