Default my N/A times - comments?

So I finally got down to the "test and tune" night wiith my 2.5GT. I also got to see PACE's 12.8 run - that was insane

but anyhow, now on to more mundane topics. like my runs, for instance....

It seems as though I am pulling some good trap speeds (for a '98 GT that is), but couldn't quite get the launch. Does anyone have et's and trap's for any 'AT ALTITUDE' N/A 2.5l Subie???
on to the exciting part...

60' 1/8 1/4
run1 2.50 11.10@63.6 17.274@80.5
run2 2.44 11.08@62.7 17.278@78.2*
run3 2.52 11.23@62.9 17.464@79.5
run4 2.53 11.22@63.1 17.447@79.3

*in run2 I tried to leave it in 3rd... ended up bonking the rev limiter in the last few car lengths. This would have been a 17.1 run if I had gone into 4th like the 1st run. oh-well

I was happy with the first two runs, but then I think the GT was gettin a bit cranky on me. I lined up with a 1.8T GTI in the first run,(chipped/exh/pulleys/etc..). I actually had him through 1st gear (his 2.7 60' to my 2.5) - that was my small personal victory

CAR: 1998 Legcy 2.5GT
Mods: homemade 3" intake, 2 of 3 lightweight pulleys, 2.25" brullen cat-back)
Next: ???? MRT header or ej20 (slight difference....)

thanks, and sorry for rambling

Sorry, only ran mine after the turbo. It ran 15.1 at 88mph with a 2.1 60' on 3psi. Clutch was slipping too. It will be mid 14's with the new clutch and a better launch.

My best time is 16.2 @ 81mph in Pueblo

I cant find my slip but I know my 60ft was like 2.25 something like that

my performance mods were at the time
jc sports intake, torque II chip, and light weight pullys and taking everything out of the car that I possibly could (weight)

That sounds about right. I remember my 99 Prelude could take any NA Suby (Imprezas, outbacks, legacy). It ran a 16.3@86 at PMI bone stock.

Last summer Joel Cox ran a 2002 RS stock, several times, at 17.5 seconds - modded RS were going 16.7 seconds that night.

Thumbs up Thanks

Soooo, it seems as though I should be able to pull a better 60'. At least a 2.3. That should put me just into the 16's (16.9's? -theoretically). I think I was trying to launch to high ~4500rpm or so, I should try closer to 3500 so my clutch can keep up better. And a higher trap speed would be nice, so hopefully the mrt header/cat will give me 1-2mph..? if I'm lucky.
I would happy to run a 16.6@82 - (hey, I'm a modest man)

that'll probably be as far as I go with this car, new car has to wait for baby-Nelson on the way . so at least a year out
I really just want to be able to suprise some rsx's and what-not out on the road to keep me entertained. it's fun in the big 4 door, even if I don't win.

Thanks for the responses, anyone else????
