Default So stoked! Placed my deposit today!

Taking delivery next week or possibly the week after. Satin White Pearl, Limited, 6MT, Package 1B.

Pics to come soon, and shortly thereafter i'll have a how to post on installing a remote mount radar detector, similar to what I did in my STi ( Thread here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1771402 ).

And what is Package 1B?

It's amazing when you go online to the Subaru website and do the 'Build One' and when you get to the page for adding packages it says "There are no packages for this vehicle" and yet one of the BRZ's I looked at had 'Package 1A' listed on the window sticker which consisted of the rear bumper applique, wheel locks and the self dimming mirror with homelink.

I thought the same thing! I saw a BRZ on a dealer website and it listed Package 1B, so I went to the Subaru site to see what is in it and it doesn't show any packages.

Subaru does that for the WRX also. They call a random set of common accessories a package instead for billing. I think it makes it easier to charge extra.

I believe there are both available, but mine has the clear piece. Mine had one of those packages as well, but I forget which. Had my car so long I lose track of these little details!

Sorry, didn't mean to rub it in...

Okay. Good. I can sleep now.

I picked up a BRZ brochure today and noticed the rear underspoiler. I was hoping that was it, rather than the black rubber. So it's the clear film below the trunk lid opening?

I was thinking this:

...probably the single best thing I bought for my STI (besides the rubber mat that fits in the hatch).

Yeah, they're excellent.. but completely out-of-place on a low-slung sports car.

Sorry to take your thread on such a weird tangent, xjohnx. Congrats on the new car! I'm so envious!
