Default what engine dressing

Did some searching and didn't come up with any good answers. Back in the day I would degrease an engine and then just "bomb it" with tire foam and call it a day. But now I have a nice new car and would like to know if there is something better to protect from oxidation and make the engine look nice.

adams in-n-out spray is good for dressing it up, as far as cleaning goes simple green w/water and some scrubbing

I use that for the plastic parts. It also works for interiors and any other plastic/vinyl, as well as many other surfaces.
I have used super clean and a tooth brush for those hard to get spots as well.
Mothers Showtime and Meguiars Quick Detailer work for the painted surfaces.

adams 'in and out' more for the 'dressing' side of things or 303 more for the 'protectant' side of things, can't go wrong with either

Yes, Scrubbing Bubbles works well as an engine cleaner...not detailer.

I have a thread on this
