I'm leaning heavily towards Nikon (about to get a Nikon D5000), but I've always wanted to check out a Canon. They seem "fun".

Well the thing is the Canon Rebel XT I'm using isn't even mine, its my brothers. And i'm going to stick with Canon because it's what I started out with and I'm familiar with it. Three of my friends have a Rebel T3i and that camera is pretty sweet for its price. I'm reaaally wanting to save up for the Canon 7D though

Although, I've never used or worked with a Nikon. I should try one out.

Look at the Canon 60D. I have one and it is very nice. It also shoots 1080p video.

I also vote Canon. I manage to take pretty decent pictures with a T2i.. But I've put some money in lenses.. Lenses really do make a difference.

Past owner totaled it and replaced it with a 06 front. Good idea, but fitment isn't perfect.

Thank you all for the kind words. Won't be modding this one much at all. Maybe a short throw shifter and the bushing to go with. But other than that this car meets my needs and I don't want to mess with the 5 year warranty I've got with it. Def gonna get an AP to clear the CEL I've got cause of the TBE and intake. I'll be driving down to anchorage for that tune in about 3 weeks or so. It's be cool to meet up with some of you guys again!

Nikon D5000 and loving it! I like the D7000, too. Just not in my budget right now.

Thanks! I'm glad to have a camera that still takes better shots at its worse compared to my camera phone at its best. haha

Yes! I was playing pool and saw your car cross paths with that moose in the parking lot. I walked over to the window and saw you go around the building where I'm sure you encountered the nasty dip in the parking lot. Then I saw you parked a little ways away once I left. I used to go to the AK Club years ago. Now I do Planet Fitness @ Northway Mall from 5:30ish to 6:30ish since it's relatively scarce, cheaper, and has the minimal equipment I like to use.

Speaking of equipment, I'm whoring out this shot I took during lunch today where I forgot my tripod, but I just couldn't resist trying something:
