This is the result of the log with Stage 1 ACN91 Normal WG.

From the looks of it, its similar to nappynick's 1st run. Do you agree that I also need ACN91 HWG?

doesn't look like you need the HWG map, but I cannot remember what the stg 1 peak boost target is for an '11.

A week from my 1st Log, it looks like the boost has exceeded the target. Should i switch down to normal wastegate? Or is it normal for boost to go up and stick to HWG?

No, your fine. You want to be within +/- 1 psi of your target and you are good. I would just watch the boost when it starts to get cold out (take a few more logs then).

This log looks fine so I would say use the NWG map in the winter. HWG may be OK (would have to see log with colder temps), but these cars can see a lot of airflow at cold temps so being on the more conservative side is better.

Here is my log for HWG 53F degrees during the winter time. It looks like I can use HWG as well. Although it will be short lived since I'm going Stage 2 tomorrow (Catted DP and Catback exhaust). But here's the log anyway

Just be careful with colder temps. Of course, things could be completely different at stage 2 level - so you will need to do new logs when you make the transition.

Yikes, seems way to low in boost. Agree i have to switch to HW?

One thing to consider, i currently do not have a heat shield installed since I was not aware that the dp will require an aftermarket, i ordered a heatshield but will not arrive for 2-3 days. Should I leave it in Normal wastegate to be more conservative and not increase the heat?

Boost is a little soft in this log. I think you can give the HWG map a try. Not having the heatshield on the car for a few days isn't going to matter that much unless you are doing a lot of idling or slow driving followed by heavy throttle pulls (i.e. any scenario where heat soak could be a problem followed by aggressive driving).

Thanks Bill, I know I can always depend on you. Do you know why my boost is way too soft and during winter? Will it be an issue during the summer when I can't go over high wastegate and under boost will be an issue? Is this a normal occurrence?

There are a lot of variations between different cars, different downpipes, and sometimes the conditions the cars is driven under (altitude, outside temp, etc.). So, most cars are good with the normal wastegate map, while other underboost or overboost, which is why we supply the hwg and lwg maps.

Looks good in the beginning, but would like to go up to 7000 RPM to ensure no knock comes up.

My log above had knocks during low RPM. Chance that i would see that again?
