Post Self-Install of Factory Alarm on 2002 WRX

My WRX left the port and is on it's way to me, I changed my mind about getting the facotry alarm system (from no, to yes) after reading posts on this board and from talking to my salesmen.

Has anyone installed the factory kit on thier WRX? Difficulty level? I am pretty good with mechanical mods (exhausts, etc...) but don't really like tearing door panels apart and running wires all over the place. Is there a PDF of the instructions anywhere? My salesmen told me it is a 1 hour (service dept. time) job and pretty easy.

Thanks,

-Rich

I was going to start a new thread but i can bump this one, right? Anyways the link is broken, I'd like to install a factory alarm on my 02 wrx since it didn't come with one. I would like to know what all parts are needed. I am amusing just the module and maybe a wiring harness, also i would like to know if i could just use a module off of eBay, without needing any sort of reprogramming into the PCM and the other gateway module Subaru uses.
Any info would be very helpful thanks!

No, you really can't bump a 12-year-old thread.
Use the search function (both NASIOC and Google), you'll find what you need.
