Default Is a lag normal at 2800rpm

I'm stage 2 with stock exhaust, SF intake, up pipe, downpipe, and Stage 2 OTS normal wastegate 93oct map

I've noticed it mostly in 6th gear when accelerating to 3000rpms, RIGHT at 2800 if I let off the throttle there is a subtle jerk and kind of pull away from power.

Is this common?

How much throttle are you giving it when you are accelerating vs. when you let off?

When accelerating, I am giving <50% throttle, right as I near 3000rpm (gear does not seem to matter), if I let off the gas to approx.<40% I feel a tug from the car and the power seems to be pulled away for a second

The 08+ STis do have an issue in that general area which is usually described as a hesitation (more when you are on the throttle than getting off the throttle). This is thought to be due to the OEM FPR set-up on these cars (relative to other Subarus) and different cars can have different degrees of severity. You can verify if this is the problem by getting a data log when the problem occurs (use the default log list plus add A/F Correction 1). Check out our data logging video below.
