My RS got egged one while sitting in front of my parents house. I found it within an hour (decided to go to the store about an hour after I got there), and there where three eggs on it. The one on the back window and the one across the hood did no damage, but the one that hit the drivers side rear quarter panel actually chipped the paint off! There's a nice little splat-shaped area of chips, and a few of them are all the way to the metal. Crappy Subaru paint, and stupid bastards who like egging cars! Was your car the only one that got hit? When mine did, I looked up the street, and every car that was parked on the curb up the whole block had been hit multiple times.

Default Get it off as soon as possible

when i was in highschool, a friend egged a guys car as a joke. it was this guys pride and joy and he actually ran the the guy down with a gun. once he cornered him, he made him pay to have the car re-painted. seems that egg has some sort of acid i it and it can corode the paint. a clay paint cleaning/polishing bar might work OK but you need to get that stuff off as soon as possible.

my car actually was the only one hit, i have no idea who could have done it, i got this car right after i gradued high school, nobody really knows i have this car (everyone think i still drive an alero) my friends are the only ones that knew that i have this car, so its not them since they all have nice cars and know the damage eggs do. i
went to a guy a friend of the family (owns a body shop_ and said he could paint my side (the eggs yolk roasted on the car since i didnt discover this untill 3pm.) but told me to check out a detailing place if they could get it out. So i did, and they said no, becasue it ate trought the paint (paint looks like ur hand looks if ur skin is really really dry)
so from now im im going to park in the driveway, and make sure my sis civic(LOL) is infront of my soobie!

DAMN!! Sorry to hear about your car. Have you tried a clay bar on it? It won't fix the paint but it might take off any egg residue to prevent further damage. Or maybe some WD-40...I know it worked great when my 300ZX got spray painted.

well your F***ing lucky you found yours so quickly. I was on vacation and some one egged my car with 2 dozen eggs. My nextdoor neighbor washed off my car the next day, but it was already too late. The paint was completely destroyed in most places and I had to have it stripped down to bare metal and repainted at nearly $2000. If I ever found out who did it, I'd keyser sosa them. I'd even kill the people who owe them money!!!

Sorry to hear it messed up your paint. Shouldn't insurance cover it? Cause wouldn't it be classified as vandelism?
