Default Nameless 3.5" vs 4' tips (hatch)

Hey all,

I decided to get the Nameless 5" catback after hearing Kyle (geddesk2)'s awesome setup. Only issue is I can't find that many photos of the new 4" tips, especially on the hatch. I know I want double-walled, but anyone have the 3.5" or 4" Nameless tips, hatch or sedan, so I can compare the look of the two installed? Nameless has only uninstalled tip photos on their site.

I dont have them installed but here's a comparison. I have the 3.5 in on cause the 4" didnt fit so i sold it. I wish I can find someone with a quiet exhaust with 4" tips to make one for me.

I hate the gap of the hole but I dont want a louder exhaust.

Dang, sucks that it didn't fit. I've got a '13 so it will fit fine. I thought I would def want the 4" tips, but Kyle's were 3.5" and they already looked pretty good so I am worried the 4" may look too big.

Trustkevin did the tips not fit with the r205 style diffuser or was it another issue?

Side to side issue for mine. Up and down was perfect. THe way mine was cut was more square like while yours would be wider and more like a trapezoid.

If your hatch came with exhaust finishers then the 4" tips may be too big. I have 3.5" single wall with exhaust finishers on my bumper and it is filled out pretty well. I have seen the 4" tips in person and if fitment wasn't a question I would have definitely gone with them. Just my opinion.

No, not at all. They are actually flush with valence. It may look like they stick out from the angle, but it doesn't. When you order, just remember to check the flush with valence option

I just got my nameless muffler delete with 4" tips. I'll try and get some pics and throw an album up tomorrow sometime.

Other than the size, the difference between the two tips is that the 4"s are an OTS tip that they just weld on to the pipes. The 3.5"s are a custom fab'ed tip are done in house, which is why they are slightly more expensive. The 4"s have the polished finish, and are slash cut whereas the 3.5"s have a brushed stainless appearance, and are straight cut. I liked the 3.5 design and look better, even if they are a little smaller.

I have 4" double walled, non-staggered straight cut tips. Yes, their website shows slash cut, but they have straight as well. haha

This is true. The OTS 4" are nice tips, and I like how it fills up the gap so well. 3.5" look good too, though. It's all personal preference. One thing to keep in mind is if you have the exhaust finishers, stick with the 3.5". 4" will be too big.

Thanks! As far as I know, the 4" are only slash cut, but I could be mistaken. It's honestly not a huge slash, but enough to notice. I really like the look.

I got my 4 inch tips in this past weekend. They're going on this Friday. I drive a sedan so I'll post if anyone wants to see that. I also got the black finish.

Ok, so I guess I accidentally lied and was in fact mistaken about the slash cut. Mine do have a slight slash that I didn't even notice. So I'm sorry for misinforming anyone. haha

Here are some quick pics I got, not the best, but ya.

But the quality of this exhaust is amazing. The welds are beautiful and everything lined up.

Are any of you using aftermarket exhaust bushings?

I grabbed two, they are a lot stiffer then the stock. They may be the cause of a random vibration I have now coming from the back. haha

They're just Kartboy bushings. But they are extremely stiff. Your exhaust won't be moving anywhere.

For an axleback, two should be sufficent you think? you guys using the extra longs, or just the stock length 12 mm?

12mm is the size if the hole, not the length

I know, I guess that could have been confusing depending on how you read it. Should have just been extra long vs. stock length. A hanger that was 12 mm long would be like .4 inches lol
