Default Master Cylinder Brace

I built a master cylinder brace today out of 1/4" & 3/16" 6061 Al. It was tig welded with 4043 filler.

Before people ask, I didnt buy the GS brace because it doesnt fit 2nd gen legacy's without modifying the brake line. Not a big deal but it was a fun project.

Nice work. I need to make one of these for my BG, the pedal feel is about as firm as jello...

There was a really cool one that is no longer made that had a rod that bolted to the frame rail then to the MC base close to the booster. Very slick. But yours looks better than some of the commercial units out there...

Thanks everyone! If I had the time to make anymore I probably would, but you know how that goes.

Never seen the rod style, I might try that on my other car and see which is better.
