Default IAG Perf/Gt Spec 44mm ewg header/uppipe combo

Happy new year to everyone and I just wanted to post some info about the GT Spec header and uppipe setup that IAG fabbed up for me. They started with a GT Spec Gen II header and uppipe and added the correct 44mm ewg flange, supporting bracket (very nice feature) and matching SS dump tube. From what IAG told me, this is only the second GT Spec, 44mm ewg header/uppipe that they've done and it was def worth waiting a week or two for it!! This was built for me after I could not find anyone else to mod this exact header/uppipe for a 44mm ewg setup, and I believe the other one was made for one of the guys at Race Comp Engineering. At my request, they also added a 1/8 NPT bung on cyl 4 so that I could plug in my egt probe for one of my gauges.

The header/uppipe itself is beautiful, but IAG's welds are FANTASTIC!!!! They're welds and craftsmanship looks so good that you would think the uppipe came right from GT Spec set up for EWG! The only sad part is the fact that I'm going to cover the beautiful polished pipes with a satin black thermal ceramic coating

I can also say that my customer service experience was an A+!! Rick and JJ were extremely helpful and informative throughout the entire process and kept me up to date with the progress of this custom set up. I would def do business again with these guys and they're true professionals. Well........here's the pics!

Yeah they did the same set up with my car yesterday but i got the new 38mm TiAL V-Band wastegate instead of the 44mm. And the quality alone of the product and welds are banging! And not to mention theres no leaks from the new header . Would totally recomend this setup and IAG to everyone. Top notch products and employees!

I have this exact same kit only I went with the equal length header, I was lucky enough to get the first one. I have to agree with everything that's been said so far. The quality of the GTSpec header/uppipe is great and the fabrication that IAG did to convert it for EWG and add an EGT bung is perfect. I'd highly recommend this setup for anyone looking to go to an EWG and tubular header.

Currently I'm getting the manifold/uppipe ceramic coated so I haven't installed it yet, but I've changed exhaust parts on my car many of times and it's really not bad at all. If you have a little bit of mechanical sense about you, you should be fine!

I'm going to be picking up the 3 bolt 38mm v-band setup from IAG as well. As far as installs go, it should be pretty much straight forward. The hardest part of my intall of the GT Spec headers was removing the 02 sensor from the stock exhaust manifold I look forward to installing the ewg kit and getting a retune from Chris Black @ AMS this April
