Hallman MBC and Perrin LW Pulley 2010 WRX

First off I'd like to thank fellow NASIOC members STI MIKEY of Phatbotti Tuning and B154Wheel (Bill). Bill assisted in the 15 minute pulley install and made it look easy.

Now on to the review. The HMBC proRX model is really nice and sturdy piece. It's heavy and big. Approximately 6" in length and 3/4" thick.It came well packaged and included all required hardware and a few extra pieces. Installation instructions were clear and concise and ultimately I did not need them since its literally 2 hoses to hook up. The boost control knob is VERY well made and takes force to move it + or-, simply put it will not move around under its' own premise. I had a protune done by Phatbotti and once the boost hits its' rock solid. Clearly day and night difference, CLEARLY. Spool is quicker too. We chose to mount it near the ABS, there is a bracket already there.

Secondly, we installed the PERRIN LW Crank Pulley. This combo of MBC and Pulley surprised the heck out of me. They are a match made in heaven. The pulley is waaaay lighter than the OEM unit, looks better too. Revs come on strong and the best way to describe the car now is that it feels lighter. It should as rotational mass has essentially been reduced, but you actually feel it. Simply follw the instructions and be sure to use caution when removing A/C belt, use caution again putting it back on. Both items where purchased thru Josh at www.importimageracing.com
