Default any one had BUCA di BEPPO?

I am trying to find if anyone has eaten here and if so please tell me what you thought of it. Or is this just another cookie cutter italian restaurant.
I am looking for catering and they are on my list.

Their food is alright. Better than Olive Garden, probably on par with Macaroni Grill/etc. Their shtick is that it's great for families and large groups of people. You can order dishes in BIG family-size large portions for sharing. The decor is old homey-Italy, fun and festive, lots of memorabilia and photos on the walls.
Damn, now I want Italian food..

I think its as good as maggianos in some areas, but also lacking in certain others ones as well. I go there decently often to eat and havent been disappointed yet as far as the foods concerned, the helps a different story though.

Last time I went to buca our waitress forgot about us and her shift ended... We waited 30 minutes then left without paying.

The food is decent, it's expensive for what it is.

I wont a fellow wagoneer wrong. Go with Maggianos. My wife and I had our wedding reception there. No one left hungry and the food is exceptional in our minds. If your looking for other options maybe there is a Famous Dave's BBQ in your area. Again, I wouldn't mention it if we weren't pleased. We have used both multiple times. Enough said.
