Where can I get some cake

Default King of Poop has a subaru, no really

So its come to my attention that some of you think that I only enjoy getting covered in feces and dealing with problem residents. That is not entirely true. I also enjoy driving and modding my cars which have mainly been subarus. Here is where I will update what is going on.

Also here is a link to my maintenance thread if you don't know about the feces.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1920023

I started with a 1991 Subaru Loyale and fell in love with the boxer engine. It was so reliable and easy to work on.

The Loyale blew the timing belt and I needed a ride quick. A local dealer had an 03 wrx and I got it with a lovely 14% interest rate

On le track

My roomate and I parted ways and I couldn't afford rent and a car payment so the wrx had to go so I picked up a cheap daily. (I bought the 91 civic for $250, sold it in 20 minutes for $800, bought it back for $500 a couple years later, and then sold it for $1000 after several months. WINNING!)

I got tired of riding dirty so I picked up a one owner 00' 2.5rs with and STi shortblock with RS heads. Had some suspension and was fantasticly fun.

I thought I was done trading cars but I soon longed for boost again. My cousin was looking for a subaru and I found a wrx wagon that need some work so we drove an hour to check it out. It needed a transmission but came with a spare motor and transmission with 62k (supposedly) on the included cluster. the guy wanted $5500 for the wagon and I just couldn't let it go. My cousin gave me $5500 for my RS and I later on Feb 13th I drove the wagon home. I talked him down a little . When it was all said and done after trading parts around and selling off what I don't need I actually have about $3500-4000 in the car. Now the fun begins.

The day I picked it up. It was owned by a Kia mechanic so needless to say there was some pretty shoddy work to fix.

Since then its been nothing but chasing my tail fixing everything under the sun. So many cracks in the intake manifold it was crazy. I got a stock one and went ahead and did tgv's and ceramic coated the whole shebang.

I thought I had an exhaust leak

Here are the latest pix of the car on the road at deals gap.

Sadly this is how the car sits tonight . The good new is the parts that are sitting next to it waiting to be installed. Jdm 6 speed, Turbo XS Fmic, APS Hybrid turbo, and some other goodies.

Here are a few pix of the work I've been doing while I waited for the clutch to come in for my six speed.

I finally got what I've been waiting for in the mail! Now to get this thing back on the road!!

He had some industrial machine fall on it. Nobody was around so he had to rip it off. It was pretty gnarly.

...and a select few of us from OT still know our roots are in Subaru

Also here is just some quick advice. If you are like me and used huge jack stands and now can't fit the jack under the engine to jack it up try this trick. Use a strap on the AC bracket and strut bar. Winning!

Finally back on the road! Just a few things to button up! v7 6 speed, 28/71 turbo, turbo xs fmic and plenty of bloody knuckles.

Pretty happy overall until the fmic piping fitment caused my hood to unlatch and **** my hood. Both sides are ruined as well as a huge crease in the middle. I'm just glad it didn't break the windshield
