I had the same thing with the hood happen in my '92 Camry. It was in an accident and had some front end damage. When it was fixed in the shop they put the latch for the hood on backwards and it didn't work properly. I found out going about 35 mph down a hill. The hood flew up and scared the **** out of me.

Wow I need a tune. The car is running like crap. I can't wait to get this utec off. Also the shifter seems to be binding when going into 5th 6th and reverse. Hopefully it's just the linkage and an easy fix.

I finally got my STi shifter trim. I still wish my tranny was shifting normal. I'll hopefully be pulling my linkage tomorrow and seeing what the deal is. Fingers crossed!

...thanks. I'm not gonna be running in the autox this weekend either . I think the tranny would be fine but we still haven't had time to tune it.

We finally got a chance to tune the wagon last week. We went with speed density instead of a maf tune. Wow my car finally has boost!

Here is a pic of all the parts I had to remove from the back before we went for a drive lol

Well I'm prolly gonna go just not drive. I still don't have she shifter issue figured out but the big thing is we didn't budget for the dragon trip. I really wanna get out of debt asap!

As far as rs hood ill def be on the lookout for a new hood. Especially since my current one flew up while driving . Looks like a Batman hood now.

Well a lot of time has passed and a lot of work has been done. Here are a few short updates.

Here is how the wagon looks now. I was just doing some maintenance and trying to figure out why my rear brakes squeal soooooo bad!

I got the rear wilwood brakes installed. They are sooooo loud and I can't figure out what is causing the squealing. I've narrowed it down to possibly being the pads on the back side of the rotor. They hang off the rotor about 1/4in. I just don't know if that would cause this amount of noise.

I also got tired of not having a bumper so I hacked it up to fit the front mount totally regret being impatient.

Just a shot of my poor looking engine bay. Hopefully I'll be able to clean all up soon. Just a jumbled mess. At least its fast and running well

Lastly I got an ATI gauge pod to replace the crappy autometer one I was using. It looks so much better. I also put two switches in it so I can switch maps and now I don't have to go under the dash to plut in the green plugs when tuning

Any pics on how you set up those switches to change between maps? That would make it so much easier for tuning aswell.

It all depends on how you are tuning and what you have setup as the map selector but yeah I can do that at some point. We currently have the rear defrost setup as the map selector but its getting cold now so I kinda need it to be just for the defrost

You can wire it to the tid pin, headlight pin or rear defroster pin. You just have to set it up in the map for wbatever pin you want to use. He is using the Carberry rom. You can check it out at romraider.com.
