Default Tune Shop In AZ

Hello Everyone,

I m new in phoenix az, and i m looking to upgrade my wrx 2011 to stage 2 and pro tune. But I m not sure which shop is the best in az. I have heard goodspeed, dyno-comp and vivid racing (this shop has bad reputation). Can anyone please give me some suggestions and which shop should i go. Thanks

Oh boy here we go again...yeah. Call these shops on the phone and check prices then judge how you are taken care of during phone call. If you like the overall "vibe" from a particular shop then go there. They are all competent of doing their job and they all have good & bad stories. I go to Dynocomp myself and I am taken care of. There are so many possibilities here in AZ that you should not have a problem deciding. Good luck to you!

Don't forget FAT. I like Goodspeed and FAT (Forced Air Technologies), both have great customer service. I had my STi tuned at Goodspeed and was very happy, and my Forester is currently at FAT so I'd give an equal vote to both.

If your looking to get tuned, I would go to goodspeed. They have Clark tuning there and a maha dyno which is one of the best. Any of the shops should be fine to do a turboback exhaust for you.

I had work done with FAT in the past and overall a good experience but now I go to UMS tuning great work so far and Tony the tuner is very knowledgeable. Just another option for you to look at but like these guys said its all personal opinion so call around and actually go in and speak with people to find out how the shops run.

Goodspeed is great, i actually got my injectors from them, but I went with Phoung at Wingzperformance for the tune. Hes done great with my car, built block, 20G 8cm, 1000cc, fmic, etc. Plus the tune was only $250 plus however long it was on the dyno. Very laid back and explains everything hes doing, whats he changing around. But all these are great places to go to.

safe is right. and sounds great you make a video and tell us your before and after.
dyno is not my cup of tea despite my issues currently with my car i prefer to get road tune just actual driving road wise and temp wise.

I had a big ESX TMIC for sale. Just sold it today.

And I have to agree with the road tune then just throwing it on the dyno for numbers and make small tweaks from there.

UMS Tuning is the best in the valley IMO. They tuned many of my rides over the years, Tony is a great tuner, you cannot go wrong there.

Well finally got my car dialed but i wasnt there for the dyno run, it put down 215/234 with bad plugs, so i replaced the plugs when i got home, and it pulls even harder than when i picked it up, curious to see what it puts down now :-).
