Hi,

Mainly using the holes already in bumper and plastic Subaru clips (supplied. Then for extra security you need to drill a few 6mm holes under bumper to fit the nuts'n'bolts (supplied)
Lip is predrilled!

Cheers,
Mark @ HTAutos

Nice! Will you guys be making side skirts as well? I'd love to see a whole set, including some kind of rear spat.

Oh man, that's a bargain compared to the STI lip. Any chance you got one of those to compare your lip to?

When does the rear end/ diffuser get here? Subaru was so forgetful to leave that off and put that sorry excuse in its place. Maybe even a full skid plate like is offered in Japan.

Mark, a replacement rear end/diffuser would be perfect. The stock one is rubbish and I'd gladly pay for one that allows me to reuse the sock reverse assembly, if possible. Is that in the plans?

EDIT: To be clear, I'm talking about the factory plastic "diffuser" rather than the underskirt.

Hopefully it isn't as disappointing as the P1 lip I just bought from them. Fit like junk and not quite what I was expecting/ no mounting points. Contacted them through e-mail about my disappointment and still haven't heard back yet. Guess you brz guys get to flip the coin and hope the product you just dropped a few bills on is of good quality.

I'd rather have the STI front lip for the BRZ. This one looks like a lowered mold of the car's actual front bumper lip.

That's all I'm sayin'.

Actually, I take back what I said about HTAutos' lip. I just noticed that the corner edges are more aggressive than the STI one, which is probably why I'm not AS crazy about it. For the price difference, however, I could see how one wouldn't care so much.

Not sure how it'd work, but I'd love to see a lip for the BRZ that the bumper lip sort of sinks into, rather than the lip being stuck directly underneath.

I'm probably not explaining it well, but I'm thinking of more an extension of the existing bumper lip. Even the factory STi lip looks tacked on. I loved the factory (OK, I had the JNA, but still) STi lip for 08-10 STi, if it was painted it would look like part of the bumper.

Yeah, kinda. Love those side skirts, but no way I'd fork over that $$ for something I'd destroy. I'm sure I'd crack it the first day just getting my huge feets in the car. Can't wait for someone to make a nice FRP version.
