Default Exhaust sound question

Ok so I am looking to do my exhaust soon. My question is if I do the UEL first what will my sound result be? My exhaust is all currently stock but with the stock resonator and stock muffler what will the sound be like?

The best case (for now lol) isthe rumble but fairly quiet. Parking at my apartment is literally RIGHT under my neighbors window and she is nice and quiet and I would like to return (or continuing to do) to return the favor.

The UEL headers with stock cat back actually doesn't sound too bad. And its not very loud at all so your neighbor won't hate you

What sort of results do you get with the WRX/STi catback on the stock header? A touch more volume would be great without a highway drone.

Baby steps as this is my DD and the cops in a few of the towns are dinks

Most of the towns are good tho so Ill be good. Just want to go with baby steps lol.

Step 2 might be cutting out the stock resonator and replacing it with a straight pipe

I believe it will have a nice tone but I want that rumble lol. I may want to go that route after the WRX header too. Who knows

Don't do it. It will be very raspy at higher rpms. UEL headers first then a cat back with 2.25 inch pipes (2.5 max) all the way back to the muffler of your choice

Good to know! I am defiantly starting with the UEL headers! Just need to figure out if I want to modify a stock set from a WRX or get a set from Rallisport...

Rallisport is easiest but if modifying a stock WRX set is a lot cheaper that will win
