Default Nail in tire

I hit a nail got a flat. Took it to the gas station and filled it with air. Going to the tire shop to get it patched tomorrow.

So question is, should I leave the tire on to drive there or should I put on the spare? I'm trying to reduce the tread wear so I don't have to replace all 4 tires, will it matter?

I would say it depends on whether the tire is still holding air and how far you have to drive to get to wherever it's going to be fixed. Since you said it went flat after you hit the nail, I'm guessing it doesn't want to hold air for very long, so the spare would the right choice in that case.
