Default tp stage 2 w/catless tsudo downpipe

So I just flashed my 13 wrx with tactrix tp stage 2 and love how the powerband feels so smooth now. Didnt realize the turbo would make so much noise after the catless downpipe install. Now my question is, why does top end feel laggy? I know you have to wait till ecu adjusts and was wondering if any realize this?

Because the td04 falls on it's face. Have you done logs? I would you maybe pulling timing or not hitting target as well.

The 2013 is not a td04.

They replaced the td04 with the VF52 09 and on and the vf52 is actually a nice turbo with the right mods.

Could be the tune. Any chance you could grab us a datalog of a pull? Might show some clarity. Does it just not feel faster up top compared to the stock tune, or is it actually feeling slower up top now since the tune?

Generally, the VF52 isnt a terrible turbo. Tweaked just right in some good hands, its good for the 330hp range on a dyno with good supporting mods such as Intake, DP, exhaust, 3-port EBCS, maybe even bigger injectors / fuel pump.

If it's TP you should send your concernes to Eric and he can explain to you what's going on and possibly make some adjustments...

You can gear a loud spool sound from the turbo and i can't tell whether its faster than stock or not. All I have is a tp stage 2 w/ tsudo catless downpipe. Ill be doing datalog today. Ill keep you posted. Oh, and it feels slower top end from stock.
