Default Thoughts on a legacy b4 swap into the gc8?

I know a lot of people have been doing the ej20 impreza wrx motor swaps but has anyone done the ej20 legacy b4? I was looking at an option magizine and someone did it in japan. I was wondering if anyone has here in the US or would try or where can I get the legacy B4 twin turbo set up???

Alright: well this is the issues. Unless you get a RHD legacy old mail carrier. It won't work. Why? because turbo set up would place the second turbo right where our LHD steering column is (IIRC) so basically it would turn into a single turbo set up and it would be worthless. But hell, everyone here is a naysayer...if you think you can get it to work. Go for it. If I come across an extra 10g's I know I am going to try to get it to work.

ive read a couple threads about people attempting it, and people have gotten the engine in. The only thing is i heard that you have to bypass one of the turbos because the steering column is in the way. Makes sense that people in japan can do it because their steering column is on the other side. So i guess you would have a regular EJ20 then with one turbo. I would like to see someone sucessfully do a B4 swap and retain the twin turbo setup.

I would like to see pictures of where the turbo sits, because with money there is a way...as I have always heard...but there has to be a way to palce that other turbo somwhere else and get it to work. Mmmmm twin scroll ej20 (or 25 )

I've heard of them being relocated (the driver's side turbo) but the problem, apparently, is that it's hard to get the system in tune to work the same way it did stock. People have moved them and gotten very inconsistent results out of them. :-/

Hmm, well what about having a tuner with an ECU burner change the ecu a little to make it work more effecent since the second turbo is moved.
I of course have no clue what would be involved in this...

Impreza and legacy are The same car. Only the New Age Impreza and 03 forester can really claim to be more than a SWB Legacy. Mostly because the Legacy went one way in the 00 redesign, and the the Impreza the other.
