The messy hair still bugs me - but I was impressed with how he handled Diaz.

Rory is an ass hat. If he woulda focused more time on finishing the fight and less on show boating I would have been impressed. He doesn't have the takedowns gsp does, I hope condit takes his head off.

Overall it was a very entertaining card.
I do agree about Rory's show boating. It cast a bit of a shadow over a dominant win.
I wasn't sure what Benson was going to come out looking like, I don't think he looked very good in his defence against Frankie (never mind we pretty much all think he lost). But that performance impressed me and once again even though he was losing, Diaz was still being an asshat.

I just watched it again. I think my favorite part was when Nate dropped his hands to talk trash like they always do and Henderson dropped him with a right. I giggled.

I am shocked that nick Diaz is getting a shot at gsp next. Hendricks deserves that ****ing shot. Gsp vs nick will go just like benson and Nate did. What the **** is up with Dana giving people title shots coming off loses lately ?

Have we not learned that the Diaz's stand zero chance with wrestlers?

I'll admit I thought Miller would steamroll him but then he tried to stand with him.

It's stupid the welterweight division has a good thing going right now and that's a huge wrench into things. Diaz should be fighting Matt brown IMO, rory fights condit for contender fight/grudge match, Hendricks gets title shot.

As soon as it was announced Hendricks blew up twitter calling out gsp on ducking him.

As much as I think GSP should fight Hendricks, the Diaz brothers have talked so much crap about/to GSP that I would like to see GSP smash either Diaz given the chance to.

Though I am not sure what Nate is thinking. He was too small for Benson, so I am not sure how he thinks he is going to be big enough to fight GSP.

*edit* wait it is Nick getting the shot not Nate? Meh, either way. Especially after the Loss to Condit, which was for the title shot, he shouldn't get a crack at the belt over Hendricks for sure.

This. I don't like Bendo but I do enjoy the Diaz brothers getting served.

Nick is the one getting the shot. He is also too small to be in there with gsp it will be a size difference just like Nate vs bendo and he will get rag dolled and kept at bay with leg kicks and jabs. Jab jab jabbbbbedy jab jab to his face and yet another fight that gsp grows closer to retirement and further from fighting silva. **** this.

I know. He will likely need to fight rory or Hendricks after. Dammit. Lets go do karate in the garage, ill bring the sword grab some melons.

At this point it looks like jones silva is more likely to happen.

Inaccurate.

GSP will keep Diaz at bay using his jab and kicks but that fight is going to be contested on the mat, just like Bendos fight with Nate. The Diazs can't stop take downs and GSP is too slick to get by their sub attempts. It'll look a lot like more like GSP vs Condit than GSP vs Kos.

You bring your sword and i'll bring my melons.

Also, i want to see gustafsson jones. I think it would expose jones for what he is; a reach advantage with patience. Not that he isnt a great fighter, but guatafsson's seemingly 4' uppercut could totally nullify jones' natural advantage. If it did, jones silva wouldnt mean anything.

I said this before, but Nick Diaz was grounded and controlled for a loss by none other than Diego Sanchez. He also has lost to Sean Sherk in the same fashion.

The chances of him beating GSP are slim to none.

Haha I'm confused where that statement was inaccurate ... I said the same exact thing you said in a different way. When nick isn't getting tossed around like a doll he will be kept at bay...and that it will look the same as Nate vs bendo in my post a few above.

Only problem is nick is a superior boxer and can counter the jab . Gsp can also use leg kick but look what happened to evangelista (not comparing fighters just the kicks) who kicks harder imo thatln gsp this will be another bendo nate style fight so I think nick better freshen up his bjj

Gsp would walk through his pillow punches, I don't think he would have much answer for his explosive quick jab that comes from a mile away. That is just my opinion come fight time is the only real way we can tell. He isn't gunna stand in front of him and bang, that's when Diaz is superior. Moving laterally, nope.

How does any of this matter? Diaz will not prevent GSP from taking him down. GSP has blown through guys that were much bigger than Diaz. GSP doesn't get submitted. Diaz can't even avoid a takedown from a guy like Diego Sanchez. The only people Diaz wins against are the ones dumb enough to just have a straight up fistfight with him.

I bet GSP will beat up Diaz on the feet as well because when it becomes evident that GSP can take him down at will he'll be constantly trying to figure out what is coming. That will break his rhythm and allow GSP to put some shots on him.
