Exclamation HKS Carbon Ti Exhaust

I haven't even had this exhaust on the car for 6 months now, and the flex joint in it just blew out on me today...Fortunately, all of their stainless piping exhausts carry a 4 yr warranty, and I will be contacting them on Tuesday to try and get a replacement joint. Anyone else have this problem?

I called HKS. If you are not an authorized reseller for them (and not many people are, they require enormous amounts of business in order to hold an account with them), they won't talk to you. Horrible customer service and NO product support from them. Finally got ahold of an authorized dealer. They said I need to send the entire system to HKS and they will look at it to *consider* it for warranty. If they decide to warranty it, they'll repair / replace it and send it to the dealer, and then back to me. First off, that will take atleast 3 - 4 weeks, if not longer. Second, shipping an exhaust alone costs $40. So I'm having Dan @ Godspeed TIG weld a 3" stainless steel pipe in the flex joints place. If anyone has any HKS product and they need warranty work on it - good luck.
