Default My Silver GM6...again

Just wanted to post another pic of my ride. It's been a while and I need some more feedback...

Since this picture I have added...

STLTHBMBER spec cold air box.

Replaced pass. side vent with a C.F. Scoop, which I painted silver

Painted 4 pots with a bright silver/chrome paint

Changed Tails back to OEM red/amber...which I prefer

Silver Carbon Fiber Momo shift knob.

That's about it so far..

More to come.

Garret

Nick,

I plan on having some soon. I buried my digicam during the move. I'll find it soon though.

Alex, not sure if you're kiddin' or not, but its the actual factory chassis # for the USDM 2.5RS Coupes. GC8 refers to the J-Spec, Four Door WRX

I don't understand all the sarcasm. I post more than enough in most threads.

I don't think that GM6 is the coupe. I will find proof and show you guys. Our 2.5RS Coupes are GC something, but not GM anything.

GM nothing.

GM = impreza 2 door. NOT general motors .
6 = 2.5L.

GC8 = 4 door 2.0L.

I am sure you knew that though.

Pop the hood on a 98-01 2.5RS Coupe, the first 3 alphanumerics of the VIN # are GM6.....Pop the hood on a 00-01 2.5RS sedan, the first 3 are GC6. I have a GM6, and ill take pictures to show you

GM6 = 98-01 2.5RS Coupe
GC6 = 00-01 2.5RS Sedan
GC8 = 92-00 WRX/Impreza Turbo Sedan (Euro or JDM)
GM8 = 97(??)-00 WRX Coupe

G = Impreza

M = Coupe
C = sedan

6 = 2.5 N/A EJ25

8 = 2.0L EJ20T

And there's some others for the EJ18 and EJ22s

hahahaha .. not this again. Who cares about GC8 or GC6. If he says that its a GC8 he is probably reffering to the Body Style which everyone knows. How bout lets just start calling them 98-01 body style? That way thier is no retarted arguments.

Nice 98-01 Impreza.

should be GC4...look at your VIN

Hey Garret, why'd do switch back to the USDM tails? Does the Amber match anything else on your car?

Well, I switched the tails because I cracked one and didn't want to spend $280 to replace the set......

Honestly for some reason it defines the taillight better with the Amber. Maybe because my car is Silver, and the clear blended a bit....But the red/amber combination makes the car look so much more tough IMHO. If I ever find my digital camera I'll snap some pics.

hey Ghomer1 wsup man?...MID-A represent young!...haha..

anyways...yeah im with ya on the amber thing..I left my from blinkers..side marker blinkers and tails amber...I think it looks better that way on the silver...it gives more contrast to the car...clearing out a silver car just never looks nice to me..looks tacky...the corner lenses are all tha I changed on mine....looks sweet though man keep it up!

Mid-A rocks ass!

Yeah, thanks for backing me up on this one....I definitely like the contrast that the red/amber tails give it. If I could find my amber sidemarkers I might put them back on too......
