Unless you buy 99-05 catback to mate up with the headers. Then everything should be bolt on.

it will bolt up to the 06-07 impreza, you just need to get the midpipe extended 4 inches which isn't much. everything else bolts right up

That is exactly why it's not a direct bolt on

Exactly! But the whole system would bolt on if he bought a 99-05 catback. Just trying to illustrate the options here.

Tony,

The borla headers are made for the previous generation of Impreza's (99-05). As such, they will not bolt directly onto your existing system. The previous gen exhaust followed the same path to the back of the car, and had the same hanger points, but the location and angle of the flanges were different. As such there are a couple of options. The first is to cut, extend, and rotate the HFC that you ordered to mate up with your existing exhaust. This is not a hard job for anyone who is reasonably skilled with a welder, but IS NOT BOLT ON. If you want a completely bolt on install, you need to also get a cat-back system for the 99-05 rs.

Hope this helps.

Ethan
