Default EJ20G Throttle body options

I'd like to try my hand at doing a PNP Throttlebody however my 93 JDM WRX is my daily driver. I don't know that I would easily find another EJ20G in a wrecking yard and it would be a piss poor idea to pull my TB off my Ej20G if my experiment in porting goes awry or if I have to go to the store for beer, groceries, or cat food before I'm done. But Suby's are very LEGO.

Are there any USDM models that would have the same throttle body?
Say from a similar year usdm impreza or legacy maybe?

Older is probably better as I'd prefer to get it cheap from a wrecking yard.

It doesn't need to have matching coolant lines as I have bypassed mine anyways. It just needs to be a stock diameter, bolt pattern and matching throttle cable location.

Ideas?

porting yours is a piss poor idea as is, but if you need to waste the effort, a turbo leg is the same tb.

Any '89-'94 2.2 Legacy should be compatable.

Relax, its more about polishing than any actual porting. Also it has never once ever been a bad idea for air to flow through a smooth polished shiny passage. Port enlarging without thinking/planning things through is frequently a ****e idea but polishing doesn't hurt a damn thing.

Doing a PNP TB generally goes pearshaped when people f$ck up the butterfly plate or enlarge the whole throttle body without anticipating their uncontrolled impending MEGA-leadfoot from the requisite larger butterfly plate.

Polishing is worth exactly ZERO-AWD-HP. I have no delusions regarding this.
