Default shop for clutch install - AZ east valley

Just like the title says. My stock clutch is starting to slip (36k miles). Figures it happens right after going stage 2. And I didn't really drive her too hard.

Also any recommendations for a clutch? I read a lot of mixed reviews on ACT, exedy, etc. Don't want something super stiff as this is my DD.

Like 05bluesti said, go with kpluten to do the work. Some of the stiffer clutches get bad reviews on the 5 speed cars since those transmissions are weak and don't like shock. I went with a clutch from South Bend clutches and was VERY happy. Much nicer than stock and not overly grabby. Look them up. I know that Exedy is the OEM clutch for the 5 speed cars. Not sure on the 6 speeds.

I would look at RPS, I really liked that clutch. Stock feel and held to 500whp.
I killed it loading car on trailer I am sure.
It still held out but since my 6spd gave up the ghost it was smart to replace it at the same time.

Thanks, I read a couple of good reviews on south bend clutches. What clutch did you go with?

I believe I went with a Stage 1 clutch. My car was basically a stage 2 build. I sold the car not long after putting in the clutch. The current owner has had it for over 2 years now with no issues.
