Just purchased tix & AutoX. Have never x'd! Should be some fun. Last year I bought my tickets about two months ahead of the event. I was really getting jazzed to go and wring out the STi ever so mildly. Then I had a bit of a coronary event on the Sunday before the event and had to waste the tickets. I even offered them to co-worker and former WRX owner (now Forester owner). He couldn't go because of attending a friend's wedding.

I shouldn't say this, but a number of last year's post-event posts gave me the impression it was kind of lame. Maybe it was due to the poor food service aspect. Anyway, I'm hoping for all-around great things this year.

Every autox ive done its always better to get there early because its usually not setup, so they can run late. You can always go over your car twice to make sure its good.

And please people check your oil level before you get on in grid, dont need people with rod knock after the event. Seen this from a lot of subie owners at the scca events

Hey this is Brad from Keegan Engineering. We are excited to return to Subiefest this year.

This last year we noticed an increase interest in building engines. So we decided to host engine building discussions every hour on the hour. We will cover beginner and intermediate building techniques; from head porting to engine break in to leak down testing.

This is in addition to displaying an BRZ engine and discussing its strengths and weaknesses. We are also revealing high end pistons and rods from two top companies for the BRZ.

The schedule for the discussions will be at our booth. Come by to check it out.

We also have Fuji Factory displaying several of their cars. These are some of the most powerful Subies yet have the cleanest engine bays, no random or misplaced hoses or wires. Fuji Factory will be on hand to answer any questions you have.

Cannot wait to see you all there.

Brad

If I can suggest anything, it's to get there as early as you can... last year the line was still going out to the main roads well after 11am-12pm.

The Coachella Valley (760) Caravan is leaving at 6:15am, like we did last year. We got there around 7:45-8am and were still 100+ cars deep into the line.

Got Dents??!~~ Have local Subaru enthusiast favorite Marvin take care of them at just $45 per panel. Please know that it's first come first serve. If you're near the bottom of the list Marvin may not get to you by the end of the day. Dent removal will run from 9-5pm the day of the event.

To sign up, send an email to mrgravelcrew@yahoo.com with your full name, phone #, number of panels you need fixed, and year / model of Subaru.
