Default Front tires cupping!! Need help!!

Ok so here is the deal. My tires are fairly new and recently I have noticed that they are cupping on the outside. There is probally 5k on these tires. I'm hoping it's a alignment issue. But I'm looking for other peoples opinion! ThAnks!!!!

Toe and balance issue most likely.

Cupping is typically a sign of blown struts.

Coil overs are fairly new. I'm hoping a mix of under inflated and alignment....... Possible???

If it was an alignment issue, and the tires were indeed cupping, it usually happens in the rear.

what tires are they? could just be cheap tires (which are more prone to this).

could also be: wheel bearing, or loose strut bolts. other than that - its a sign of springs/shocks being bad.

what coils are they? could be cheap parts/poor valving/poor spring rates.

could also be a balancing issue.

cupping happens from the tire bouncing up and down, so there are only limited reasons for this to be happening.

Well I wAs told that too much toe in I believe could cause it on the out side I believe. Could be toe out.... But the car came with cx- racing coilovers. They are pretty stiff. And hold the road nice. But sits pretty low.. I shook the whole car down yesterday. Nothing loose. All bolts are tight. This is just weirs to me because my last set wore perfectly even last summer....

Toe causes even wear, typically on the inside.

Cupping is almost exclusively bad shocks (in your case cheap coilovers) or poor quality tires.

Poor balance can also cause cupping. You would typically notice the vibration long before significant wear though.

just because toe was off - doesn't mean its going to solve your problem. we'll see in time, but i'm positive it aint the toe. ive never seen toe cause cupping, and i've had toe off on my car by 1*.

like scotty says - post the rest of the alignment specs.

Yes whoever aligned your car has no idea what they are doing.

Take it somewhere else and have it realigned. You need more neg camber.
