Default What is this?

Thanks to anyone who can help me ID it. It supposidly came from the rear and is the reason my 2002 wrx hatchback is throwing a check engine light.

Thanks!

Figured some things out. It's a fuel control pump module.

This is actually a photo off another model, but was seemingly compatible. Does anybody know what years will work with a 2.0 L subaru wrx 2002?

It looks to me like the one on eBay should work. It's also only about $100.00 new from Subaru, so I dunno if $60 for a gamble on a used one would be worth it even with a 90 day warranty.

The eBay part (22648AA011) is listed as a part number for both the WRX and 2.0 STi in Europe, as well as the B4 Legacy (twin turbo version), and both the 2.0XT and 2.5XT turbo Foresters in Europe with years ranging from 02-05. Not only that, but it's also showing as being used in the 2.5XT Forester here in the US from about 03-06, but also the WRX from 01-05.

The part number in the pictures above (22750AA010) is listed as being used in the 2.5XT in Europe from about 03-05, and the WRX from 05-06 (No STi listed). It's also listed as 05+ WRX and 03+ Forester XT here in the US - Not an 02 WRX listing that I saw. I believe the pictures posted are the part which superseded the eBay part.

So, if I had to guess, I would say this:

22648AA011 - 02-04 WRX
22648AA011 - 05+ WRX

yes. This confused me as well. Thanks for insight...I'm a natural penny pincher so it will be hard to no go with the bottom dollar. But yes, I agree. It's over priced on ebay..
