I was wondering if it was possible to buy replacement body panels (fender, hood, etc.) new, or if it's at the point where I just have to look at scrap yards for parts? The car was involved in some minor accident prior to my purchasing the vehicle, so the bumper, right front fender, and hood are all misaligned. It's also missing the grille, which I was hoping to replace.
Honestly, a 97's probably not really worth putting that much money into, but I was wondering if it was even possible to find *NEW* replacements for these parts rather than scrounge junkyards and craigslist.

I have the exact same question for my 98 legacy gt sedan...i need a hood front bumper and passenger side fender i was going to check out junkyards just because it will be cheaper then buying new parts if you can even still do that as you mentioned

I know that some auto parts stores carry new fenders for imprezas. Could be worth a shot.
