the firestone in scottsdale told my buddy that he needed a tranny rebuild when his slave/master went out, to the tune of $4,000.

I asked him, did you tell them that you could just buy another car for that much?

So I had him go down there and told him to put the mechanic on the phone and explain to me why he needed a trans rebuild, buddy said the mechanic looked really nervous when he handed him the phone.

Sachs is alright. It's an oem quality replacement. If your car had a turbo I'd get after you, but for an older obs it's fine

i called bap and had one same day, took them two hours to get it from warehouse. 212.00 out the door.... but hope all is well. will you be out at the east side meet tomorrow night?
