Unhappy steering wheel/quick release HELP!

I got a NRG hub and a NRG quick release with a grip royal steering wheel. Everything was going good till I had to bolt the s/w to the quick release. Everything is lined up(hub/quick release). The tires are straight buy for some reason the bolt pattern on the wheel will only let me bolt it on the release crooked.

Just like stated above, remove the hub, move it over one spline counter clockwise and try again.
