Been off the forums for a minute...

Stoked about 6+" of NEW by Sunday at Stevens. I'll be up for Retro's and Sunday

Been blessed with an amazing year so far, got to do a lot of touring this season at Yodelin and Mt. Heather.

Have some pictures to share

BTW JoJo I rode that Raygun all year as a dedicated POW board over my Skate Banana =)
thought you might get a laugh out of that

It's been an April powder extravaganza. Tomorrow will be my 6th in a row and may be the best. Supposed to be bluebird and Summit will open for the first time in 22" of pow. Looking at live temps it's 16* up there right now.

I wish I could tag along. I've been riding there for a few years, don't know if any REAL secret stashed though. I may go on Monday.

I'll probably be around.

Got avy gear? We could get our hike on if you want.

yeah, actually we would prefer a hike. We got all the gear/airbag/splitty. It will be g/f & I - she is proficient with her gear and way faster skinner then me.

let me know! we could return the favor next time you come down to Oregon (hood/bach)

I'll be there with my gear as well, taking hikes to Cowboy and Rooster. Do you guys carry walkies with you? If so what channel? I'm not too hard to miss in all green.

Super soft blower powder all day and was still nuking when I left at 3. Waist deep in places. Today will be just as good.

By far one of my best last days of the season.

Sick board!

There isn't much snow down here in SoCal right now. I'm happy to be on vacay, but I missed last weekend too.

Awesome weekend. Saturday felt like mid February, and there was hardly any crowd. One of the top 5 days of my season for sure. Sunday was definitely busier, but the snow was still really good. A little parking lot BBQ action and pond skim capped of a great weekend. I gotta say, the convergence zone has done us good this season at Stevens.

Board Junkie, bummer we didn't meet up but we'll have to get after it next season for sure (or even a spring split mission). I think I saw you ripping under Jupiter at one point Saturday, I was gonna give you a yell but you were haulin balls.

I was supposed to ride today, but everyone bailed, and I wasn't in the mood to ride solo today.

Turned into a Summit day. 6-8" of pow up there but it was variable with some wind scoured areas. Overall better than I expected and tomorrow is shaping up to be a good day. 2-4" more tonight then partly sunny tomorrow with highs in the mid 20's.

Haha no doubt! I think that was shortly after I lost my Contour on "A face" and all my friends bailed on me, so I was trying to catch up... That was a sketchy line to be bombin for sure.

It got super heavy at the end of the day, so I said my good-byes in the park...

got some turns in at Crystal yesterday. Probably not going again until some time in May. It was pretty fast in the morning and then the snow softened up for the afternoon and slowed things down a touch. Was overall a fun day and helped me narrow my decision on boards for next year. I'm going to go the consolidation route and thin the quiver. in the fall, i'll try and sell my Burton Nug Directional 152 and the Capita Ultrafear 154. I want to consolidate those two into one bigger twin I can ride the whole mountain with. I'll probably go with a full rocker board with magnetraction. So either the skate banana or park pickle. I think both of those come in a 159. I like the loosey goosey feel of the full rocker and the mtx will help out on those firm days.

quick question for those of you that ride with an avalung backpack. I got an Outlaw pack recently and the left shoulder strap is pretty uncomfortable. Maybe i'm doing something wrong, but the intake box puts a lot of pressure on my shoulder when the pack is weighted. Is that just how it feels? seems weird to put a hard straight piece on a strap that needs to conform to curves over your shoulder.
