Yes, they're all ran in Shoot44 mode.
The first graph is one of my personal favourites, an all Cosworth motor with ported non AVCS heads and a Blouch Billet GT30R and a .63 housing, fuel is a 20% meth mix.
Awesome road car with ballistic response and a decent area under the curve.

Opps I lied. Here is the numbers. 428whp 362trq @20.7 psi reached at about 5500 rpm.

Sorry for the crappy pic.

Little more info about the setup.

I originally went with a stock location 35r in hopes of a little better spool. I wouldnt recomend it. Spool was barely any better than a regular 35r I was running 23 psi to only make 390whp. Never ran any race gas or meth with either turbo to see what it would do with more boost. Did a compression test one day and 3 were low. Mps pulled it apart and found the rings were worn (expected) and that the cylinders had begun to oval a little. Other than that it was in perfect condition. Personally if I were to do it again I would go with something 18g size. Off boost in this was hardly any different than my stock 2l vf34 setup. It is deffinetly a great choice for the 2l guys looking for a little more power.

I have a recent stroker

2.6 ltr Maxwell Power stroker kit 83mm billet crank
Dom helped me pick my components for a real fast spooling broad torque setup.
balanced blueprinted
Ph spacers
AMR inlet
20g XTr
Pulleys
Aem boost solenoid
Cattless TXS turbo back
Typhoon short ram ( my choice pre Dom )
ETS TMIC
ID1000's
Agency power coated header and up pipe ( we are getting these in next week )
TGV deletes
Turbo coatings blankets and lots of DEI

We felt on the first tune that the stock manifold/up pipe was really limiting torque, so we ordered the Agency power setup with upPipe.

I am pretty sure that will complete the bolt ons.

Right now it spools like a stage 2 and puts down 375wtq and 365whp on pump 92 oct.

The thought is that we will break 400wtq with the new header and upPipe and probably end up with 380whp on the MPS dyno.

The 2.6 is super responsive around town but it doesn't make much sense to rev it's nuts out.

Shift like a stage 2...

Having owned a FMIC 2005 STI with a FP 20g TDO6h 7cm and now this setup in a 2007STI. I can say that this is more powerful and more responsive.

350-360whp with good fast spool seems to be where I am happiest. I drive around under 5k 99% of the time so I like my power there.

That being said I can't compete with the big turbo boys. Thats ok though, I can make em work for it...

The lifespan on the 83mm crank might be an issue as, if I understand it correctly, the piston gets to wiggle around a little bit at bottom dead center as the bottom of the pistons gets to travel a bit outside the sleeve. The 2.1s I doubt have any worse reliability overall than your average built 2.0 or built 2.5. If it is put together well, and pushed reasonably (my 30 psi on 93mm wiseco pistons and stock sleeves isn't an example of reasonably) I could see it having a pretty long life, perhaps even rivaling the stock engines.

2.7L 83mm stroke, 102mm bore, 8.5:1 compression.
Full race twinscroll kit running a BW 83-75 Journal bearing turbo with a .91AR T4 twinscroll hotside.

This particular run was at the end of the tuning session, on q16 in a 93 deg dyno room. AEM was pulling 5 deg of timing from the coolant temp compensation table.

+1 to this, hopefully a 2.34, 30r .82, with kelford 199-c (their 272) and big ported sti heads using avcs, would love to see a chart for this or close to

A 30R on a destroked really isn't doing the shortblock any justice. I suggest to most to run a 35R at a minimum...and I also don't recommend it as a true street car unless you don't mind the trade off in low end torque.

I do however have on customer who very much so wants to put a GTX3076R onto one...could prove to be interesting.

Yes, built a few stroked EJ22 engines, don't have many dyno graphs to hand for those though.



GT3040 turbo on 2 different cam choices, the original in Red was good for drag, not so good on the road, the revised cam choice in Blue made a much better road car.

I have 2 stroked EJ22 motors being built at the moment, both are equipped with Blouch 35R Billet turbos. I'll keep you updated on the results !

So I have a question and I am going to try and ask it as nicely as possible.

If you aren't going to rev the holy piss out of your destroked 2.5 or your stroked 2.0 why would you not just build a 2.5?

The funky thing is those peak power figures are pretty much the same as mine. (different dyno though)

I also see 22lbs of boost by 3400 rpm so I am honestly confused why folks that aren't going to rev the piss out of these motors run anything other than a 2.5.

Once you pull out a short lock and take it apart, the cost to put in a 2.1 vs a 2.5 is trivial.

Please school me...

I would guess, for non sleeved motors, more reliability with thicker cyl walls. Obviously a cdb for the ej22's.

I rev mine out to 8000 rpm. But due to my cams, I start losing power quickly after 7200.

I've had a 2.5 prior to this setup. Running 2.0 heads on a 2.5, I wouldn't say it is best solution. For the amount of money needed in head work alone you can get a fully built 2.1. Also it is a lot better on gas than the 2.5, i went from 200 miles a tank to 250-260.

Starting to build a stroked ej22t (sti crank, probably carrillos, and ots wisecos.. compression will be just over 8:1). Hoping with a s363 t4 and my 280 cams I will be able to make good power to 7500+ without the power falling off, I need to rev to the upper 7's w/ my 07 6 speed in the 1/4

I'm usually against stroking engines.. I like things that rev out! And high torque numbers break things, need better clutches etc. But my 2.0 was making peak HP at around 7800-7900 and pulling flat to 8200+ I really that...but... I don't see any way to swing a larger turbo on a setup like that without revving to 8500+ and I'm not comfortable with the oiling system to do that. Not to mention even worse lag.. So more cubes it is. A little more off boost response wouldn't hurt either... a big turbo 2.0 at 6700ft elevation is pretty laggy and dead down low, so a bit more down there would be nice.

Have the ej22t, hopefully I can tear it down this weekend and get the crank, pistons, bearings ordered so I can take it in and have the #5 thrust machined...

This is just a preliminary tune on conservative timing and conservtive afr. The motor only has 600 miles on it atm. I was really surprized by this turbo. I really didn't think this turbo was 500 hp capable but it is. The hp figures are probably a little low because I couldn't compensate for the taller ppg ger ratio, and my car with two people prol weighs more than 3385 lbs with all the amps speakers and other misc stuff. But its dyno numbers so whatever. I know this thing hauls ass and that's what counts right.
