Default car wieght vs lighten fly wheel? any correlation

I'm putting in a ej20k in a 914.. roughly 1800-2000lbs.. about 1000 lbs lighter than the car it came out of.. I read all the normal ups and downs on a lighten fly wheels... But does the weight of the car come into the equation at all??

or is it strictly a drive train issue??

It will see track time and spirited driving.. Suby tranny also..

Turninconcepts sent us a light weight flywheel for use in my 1500 pound Subaru powered TR-42, might want to give them a call. Ask for Tony

It's just a drive train issue. My Subaru with a WRX engine is 2008 lbs and I run an 11 lb flywheel. It's a rocket. Have fun with the 914.

PM Britain Smith if you have questions, he's a nice guy and has done your swap before.
