Yes, we know. No, the '05 STi wheels will not fit your car.

'05 STI runs a bolt pattern of 5 x 114.3 on a 17x8 forged BBS wheel '04 STI and all other Subies save the late, great SVX run 5 x 100 bolt pattern, and the '04 STI wheels are 17x7.5 forged BBS wheels nice wheels - although they are one of the few BBS designs I'm not crazy about - expensive to replace... |

Can you buy adapters to make them fit?

yes you can but they will space out your wheels... you bolt on the 5/100 you have and the studs that are installed on spacer Is 5/114. unless you find 04 sti bbs only.those are 5/100 ... 05'+ 5/114

Spacers will be 10mm or so. Maybe 15mm and with the conservative offsets of the factory wheels you should still be fine.

On a GC, even with 10mm it's going to be a tight fit. They really don't have much room. |

Ok, the offset for the Sti wheels is higher depending on the specific wheel, if i remember correctly, than what aftermarket companies offer. Even if they were 8.0" wide, a 25mm spacer/adapter is 1" of negative offset. (Mating surface moved out towards the side of the car.) I still don't think there will be any huge issues given what I see some members running.
