I just wanted to get some information about how the ecu stores the boost and if it can be cleared. also, does it store it for each gear? Say I don't go above the stock boost but I set it so that I go to that boost in ALL gears. would subaru ever know? thanks for the help

Resetting the ECU clears it out. As far as the ECU remembering boost settings...no way! The ECU does not data log.

When you set your check engine light off it stores a freeze frame of conditions at that instant. Among the items stored is boost at that time. That is the only way that the ECU can store boost level....
