That is a textbook definition of a proper turbocharged engine dyno curve. Peak torque @ 5100 on a 600whp engine and a flat power curve from there to 7000RPM.

I wouldn't say I'm maxing the turbo out but I'm definitely at a point where in order to make more power, I need to sleeve the block and run more boost!

I want to take care of that first, run close to 40psi, see where it lands and then decide what is the best option!

I really love how the car feels right now and amazing response that the turbo gives!

I just say that because hp is tapering off and tq falling. If you had alot of turbo left hp would just keep rising.

It could be a lot of things. Cams, the hotside being too small and creating too much back pressure.

These are some examples of what the 6266 is capable of at high boost, I think he has a lot left on the table

OP can you overlay the old graph and the new one? I wonder if it spool faster with the Bomba TB

I don't agree. There's a hold up somewhere! Trust me! My 35r setup with BIG cams just goes up and up.

Not disputing its not sweet an great power just simply saying as it is, from a tuning standpoint the power will not come as efficiently and easily now.

Could even be the exhaust, intake, mani, cam selection. A million other things.

I am saying what you are saying.... There seems to be a restriction somewhere but I don't think is the turbo since is capable of way more power. It also could be the dyno... who knows

Yeah based on some of the other huge power 6262's that's why I was saying that. Most likely it something with the setup other than turbo. Obviously it's making great power but I am surprised the tq falls off so hard up top.

Needs some gsc s3's .

It really does not fall off that hard and my last chart has the same characteristics as this but just with less power lol

Seriously try and think of a part that I could use to broaden my top end torque?

I have a chart overlayed with this most recent run vs the last time we tuned, and there is an increase everywhere except it comes on to boost about 100rpm later than previously due to the increase in runner width between my old perrin manifold and the new full race I am now using...

Plus, I am already already using the kelford 280s ;-)

well thats no big deal on spooling slower but if you ever get into the motor again theres no doubt in my mind going to s3 cams youll see way better top end hp and tq wise.

bet its fast!

Yea it is crazy fast and had a blast carving through some back roads today through the hills of Pittsburgh! :-)

What are the spec differences between the kelfords vs S3s?

Maybe when I sleeve the block in the future I will give the S3s a try!
