Default Exhaust Tip Rattling Against Trailer Hitch

i have invidia catback exhaust and just had a trailer hitch installed and the exhaust rattles against the hitch something awful.

what can i place in between the exhaust tip and trailer hitch that will stick (ie won't melt from the heat) and will cut down on the noise? can i just jam some rubber in there?

I had the same problem with my Eco hitch rattling against my muffler hangar on the driver side. Took me half a year to determine that was the cause, I thought it was the shock mount or an interior panel in the trunk. I just cut a section from a bicycle tube and ziptied it onto the hangar where it contacted the hitch. Totally silent now.
