Does this target boost sound right.

I do know a data log would be the truth, however I want ask about my max bosst compared to target.

I have a 2004 WRX, new clutch so no slipping, a 3 inch bell mouth dp, and am stage II on the AP. I know cobb says to have the freest flowing exhaust and I am just dp. I do have a new JNA catless up sitting on my desk but waiting for new gaskets from Grimmspeed. Tonight I was doing so back road pulls to see where it was, despit my stock exhaust and no up.

Cobbs notes on stage II is 17psi +/- ~1psi. Seeing as how I am just a dp, and a turbosmart bov 50/50 (no idle problems or problems with it what so ever.), and on stock catback it was nailing 15.5psi every time. does that sound about right? It was also probably 110% humidity.... Just curious. Been very happy with it so far.

If you have a version 2 AccessPORT, I would get a 3rd gear data log as outlined in the video below. That would be the best way to make any kind of determination, not only because you can see what boost is doing across the RPM range, but also check other parameters before you attempt to fix any low boost problem.

I only have a v1. would a few dyno pulls work? Also. If I have a v1 with supporting stage II mods, what do I do with my car if I where to send it in and buy a new v2 with the rebate for the v1? not drive it?

You could do a 3rd gear run (as outlined in the video) with the v1 and just monitor the peak boost with the boost reading from the v1. That isn't telling you much else, however. A dyno run may be a little better if you can monitor fueling with a wideband during the run. You could instead use the open source logger RomRaider with a compatible cable.

You can run on the stock map (i.e. uninstall v1) on a stage 2 set up if you just try to stay out of notable boost (no WOT runs, etc.). Besides data logging capability on the v2 AP, you will also gain live monitoring of numerous engine parameters, launch control, recent ground-up new maps for 02-05 WRX, free AccessTUNER Race tuning software, road dyno and 0-60/quarter-mile performance measurements, and more. Thanks a bunch bill. What is the exact price after the 200 dollar credit? I know I need to upgrade! And finally done with engine bits for the moment so I should probably take advantage of this!

The original price of the AccessPORT v2 for your car is $595, so it would be $395 with the credit.
