so way back in high school some cool kid decided to hit my back left door with a hammer. This wasn't a problem, ended up fixing it with his money. Anyway, I didn't notice the speaker not playing from that door back when I got it fixed, and then noticed the lock on that door doesn't work either.
I just put new speakers in my car, and can only have 2 in the front or else it sounds horrible, anyone have any ideas how hard this fix is?

Check the wiring to the speaker that runs through the door jam. The wires get flexed there and can break after doing that for a period of years.

but it's the lock too, doesn't it have to be a different wire?

i would be surprised if the wires that feed into the door are frayed.

I pulled the panel off a while back and couldn't see any damaged wires.. maybe I need to bust out the battery tester
