Default idles at redline after head gasket job!

what's the deal here? throttle cables aren't stuck, butterfly is fine, can't find any major vacuum leaks, all connections seem to be fine. please please please help.

edit: engine is EJ253 out of 99 RS

I had my throttle cable stick after my head gasket job. After 8 or so hours of wrenching, I did actually doo doo my pants when I went and started it up.

My brain was fried and it was like 2 a.m. on a sunday night/monday morning.
