Default AWIC Install Video / Parts List

I happen to live a stones throw away from one of the largest intercooler suppliers in the country, Silicone Intakes (Frozen Boost).

I have been in R&D on this kit for a few months over at legacycentral, completed the kit and just made a video of the install.

Just wanted to share with the rest of the Subaru community in case AWIC is the route you want to go with your car.

Enjoy! If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here or send me a PM.

Why didn't you plumb in a reservoir?

You don't really need one below 300 awhp. It stays super cold even after 2 or more hours driving.

Issue I ran into with mine, is that my air/oil seperator lives in the same spot the end of the intercooler wanted to be.

Are you not running any mounting brackets on the intercooler itself?

I also grabbed their thicker, FMIC style heat exchanger, and had some brackets welded on to it, and put it in place of my FMIC.
