Congrats! What dealer did you order from? How was the experience so far? I'm hoping to order a WRX in January or so.

Thank you good sir. I placed the order thru Rafferty. Steve heck is our go-to guy. I got a good deal considering the switch up with allocations and I think that this being our 7th Subaru thru them had some play in it in. I was considering other places but Rafferty just made sense.

Seems Rafferty is well liked around here. That's almost an hour from me, but I'll at least email with them when i'm ready. I'd rather deal with Colonial or Glanzmann, because i'm right between them.

Alos, WTF is with Subaru's USA site? People are ordering 2013s, even receiving them, and yet the website hasn't been updated, and still only shows 2012 pricing, etc.

Weird you guys are getting delivery of 2013's already.

Up here in Canada, my dealer says they are not allowed to release 13's yet until SoC gives them the word. Also, they have to wait for every dealer to get at least one 2013 before they are all allowed to be released to customers.

Yet another reason America is better than Canada! HA HA!

Did they redesign the 2013 WRX/STi because I cannot find anything on the Subaru website saying they did. I saw rumor mostly and computer generated pics of what it might be.

Some one posted pictures in the news and rumors "any word on the 2013 wrx" thread. It's a swp hatch and it looks identical from the outside. No pictures of the inside but I'd imagine it's the same.

No, it has not been redesigned. Should look the same as the 12's.

Hey guys, newbie here.

If you were to buy a new WRX in the VA/DC/MD area, which dealer would you recommend?

Email a bunch to see who will give you the best deal. Subaru of Annapolis is the biggest one by volume, so they should be able to give you the best price. Shop around, I'm doing it right now.

This has been stated elsewhere, but it's great advice. Find out exactly what you want and email nearby dealerships. Let them know you're emailing multiple places and tell them you'll go with the one who gives you the best offer. It's a great way to get them to compete for your business without you having to drive around town talking with salesmen.

I tried doing that here in DFW and they are all playing hardball. Best I could get was 1500 under MSRP.

When I saw this thread I googled 2012 WRX and this was the first thing that popped up: http://2013wrx.com/

Needless to say I was very jealous and figured I'd trade in my 12 for one. Much better looking than the pic of the caliber/wrx bastard child in the rumors thread...scroll down to the 3rd pic, the yellow one

I got my '12 wrx from Bob Moore Subaru in Hurst about two months ago. I had time requirement and had about a week to find a new car. Jack(Their internet sales rep) sold the wrx I was coming to look at 5 min before I walked in the door. To make up for this he searched all over the state, found one in Houston and did a dealership trade at not cost to me and had it flat bedded from Houston to DFW in a day. It had some non base add-ons that were threw in for the original quote price. Took me a little bit of time to deal with SOA finance but would highly recommend not only Bob Moore Subaru but also Anthony( works under Jack as he is the Director). Their Finance guy (Jason) is a shark, like most finance guys. Just read your contract and don't walk out without understanding every number he prints out.

I didn't know which dealership in this area was the biggest one by volume. Now I do. Thanks for the info.

Waldorf of Subaru quoted me $25K (before taxes, tags, etc.) for the base. Do you think this is a reasonable price?

Also check truecar.com. It's great for research and you can add options and see what the best price is you can reasonably ask for.

No. I was referring to the SWP Hatch on this page.

I just recently started liking the SWP setup with gold wheels. Its really the only color car I can tolerate gold rims but I think it actually looks pretty nice on a WRX/STi particularly on a hatch.

I ordered my 13 WRX in DGM because I think it shows off the lines/fender flares the best. I added side molding to give it more angles. Kind of stuck on wheel color if/when I chose to upgrade. I feel like the stock wheels are gonna get old quick. Anyone have a good pic of wheels on a DGM hatch?

Oh and I wish the dark inserts on the headlights were still there, but I plan on adding red overlays to the tail lights.

Me too. Love this (except for the side molding, I think that's gross). The gold can look pretty good on a WRB as well. But def SWP.

Anyone know the scoops on subaru dealerships near or in portland?

Like which one is best to go to for the best options? or better volume of WRXs on lot? <------ asking this because I will probably have to buy the 2013 WRX off the lot and i'm hoping to either find a SWP or PBP.

I looked up dick hannah subaru and it looks like they have a lot of reviews on google. Anyone had any experience with them?
