The 2013 WRX/STi Order Thread

Just ordered my 2013 WRX WRB 5-Door. Dealer was able to track me down one so only have to wait a few days until they have it. Now if insurance would just send me the check for my totaled 2011, I'll be all set.

Ordered late October and was told I'd have to wait till February, but lo and behold I get a call today from the dealer telling me early December delivery!!!

^ you make me sad I order mid October and still have no ETA. Did they actually give you an ETA or just telling you early December?

The verbage was that this was an ETA and early December, but the fine print is that it could be a bit early or later, they had to slip that in. I was doing so good too, I knew about the delay when I went in so I was just going to keep quiet till December and then start buggin'm for ETAs.

Finally! VIN and ETA of next week. But I just moved 1500miles away. I can't drive it until Christmas...Thank God for parents being able to store it in our garage.

Well what do you know, I went to call my salesman today to cancel my order and he said he just got an email 5 minutes earlier saying my car is on the way!

Sadly my dad will have to pick it up as I leave for Florida on 12/9 and won't be back until January. Stupid work

Ordered a Limited WRX CBS five door with a STS from Bill Jacobs Subaru in Joliet IL on 10/3 and just received an ETA from the dealer of 12/17.

Ordered Aug15th - Plasma blue STI base sedan w/ Nav... Still on hold... Still can't believe I haven't received a VIN and eta, and still ordering more and more things for the damn car cause I have nothing better to do, lmao.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered a 5door WRB STi w/nav and mirror w/ compass and last I heard still on hold. I have now given up all hopes on my car beating me back to Ohio but maybe I will get it this year...but I'm not counting on it. I am going to email my dealer again in a week or so to see if I finally got off freaken hold status...

I just received a call from my dealer letting me know that my order is still on hold, and he said that is due to the fact that I ordered my car with Nav. He wanted to know if this was a must have for me, or would I be willing to get rid of it if it meant getting my car sooner. I said as long as this wont reset my order/wait time I'd be fine with that, and he said it shouldn't. I'm wondering if justy or Evanston has had any experience removing the Nav from an order, and if so did it result in a shorter wait time?
