I pre-ordered 8/10 and my official date is "November." But the estimate from the dealer is late September / early October.

I have never seen an ETA like that. The system will say "month of" until it has been scheduled. Then it will have a specific ETA date(that can and does change on occasion). Is this just what the dealer told you?

Oh.. interesting. Wonder why that is. I guess it's a good thing I didn't choose Navi option.

I'm in Fresno Ca. I'm 500 over invoice but they wouldn't budge.

My delivery date is what is written down on my paperwork? They said 8 weeks is the max.

The closest dealer to me is getting a 2013 WRX base ISM hatchback. I put a deposit on it and it will be here 9/19.

I think that's pretty good. I got mine (and accessories) at invoice and it should be north of $31.5k with 8.6% sales tax. I got Navigation ($1k option) also, so you're still doing roughly $500 better than me.

Yea that sounds pretty good. I'm at $29.8k out the door for a Premium hatch with about $1k of dealer cost options.

EDIT: For those counting...that's $27.2k including D&D but before TTLD. 7.25% tax.

hey guys do you know how to figure out state tax for a car. i've tried google but it's not giving me any useful info.

guys if i can make the car payments w rent and insurance it shouldn't take me that long to pay off a car even if i pay more than what is expected of me every month for another year or so right? gross income a year: anywhere from 25k-35k a year. i probably pay 3k in taxes this year

It should be your states sales tax regardless if its a car or not.

Guess it's not a bad deal then. I was just told that the WRX I'm inquiring about has a few options: Center Armrest, Bumper Cover, STi short shifter, Auto Dimming Mirror, Wheel locks, and Vortex Generator...ugh.

I'm not a fan of the Vortex..hopefully it's something that can easily be removed.

I believe some states actually have a different sales tax for cars.

Unfortunately here in California, it is the sales tax for the County which is 7.875% We don't have any reduction for car sales tax like some other states.

Well i think that there's a good chance that it isn't a 2013. Do you know where the video was filmed?

So I called my sales guy today just to check in and he told me that my car was already built and has a VIN number and an ETA of October 1st! It could be sooner so lets hope! Ordered August 16th.

Does any one think that 35900 for an sti with sts, roof rack, trunk carpet, heavy weather mats, side molding, mirror w/ homelink, and fog lights is bad? This is my first time purchasing a Subaru so really not sure how they budge...... It's not like a Chevy product
