Ordered 11/14
ETA 10 weeks

Call from dealer 11/28 stating normal allocation vehicle coming in. Lucky me!!

Has anyone taken delivery of a STI that actually had the armrest extension? I watched my guy try to add it to the order. No go. I assume I will just buy one and install it but why in the world cant he add it to the order? So odd.

I ordered my STi on 11/17 and it wasn't even an option to add it.

I ordered my STI with the armrest extension. We'll see what it actually shows up with hopefully in the next few days.

PBP STI sedan base w/ Navi:
Ordered: Aug15
VoN: Aug15
Original ETA: November, placed on hold for two months
New ETA: December, told this November 30th
Final ETA: Jan7th, told this December 7th
VIN received: December 7th

Now I just wait. Was told couple be +/- a week from Jan7th. But nice to have actual eta and vin.

It's because the STi gets a leather and red stitching lid.

My ETA is 01/08 shipping to central IL. I would assume our cars are on the same boat. Does anybody know which boat it is?

Finally got it. Opening day order with Nav.

Having driven my SO's 2012 WRX a fair amount, I am happy I went with the STI.

Did I need it? Of course not. Do I love it? Oh yes.

Just finished going wingless and removing rear badges.

But man do I hate those wheels...

I ordered one opening day, SWP 5dr wrx limited w/Nav . Dealer as been terrible, doesn't get back to me and as of Monday said they talked to the district manager and it would be end of January. I went to another dealer and they located my exact car only no Nav and with SPT exhaust so I drove down and picked it up yesterday. I'm so stoked. Getting the clear bra put on as we speak. I guess I didn't graduate cause I didn't get my order but I am dropping out!

i really don't care how long other people have waited, and that might upset some, i don't care about that either lol.

I only care about getting my car, yesterday, as soon as possible, and never reading or typing anything in this thread again.

getting pissed off is better then getting pissed on, that has never been debatable.

That would affect only one person, me.

No I have much more enjoyable ways of venting my frustrations in the meantime. And if it comes down to it, i'll be making a decision that affects the parties responsible, not me lol.

Meh, it's a been a while but I think checking on this thread makes it a lot worse than it is... Comparing order dates to time received, SOA ordering problems, blah blah blah... I'm going on 12 weeks and I'm not angry for the wait, hell I chose to wait to get what I want. Been waiting 3 years to be able to get the funds for this vehicle and the wait sucks but it is what it is.

I told you to not put your hope up too high with having the car in december when you didn't even have a vin coming close to the month. I ordered before you, already have a vin and I still have to wait til 12/31.

I honestly didn't get antsy like you guys until two weeks before my eta. Just be patient, don't think about it, or buy parts for the new car coming.

Well waiting for something you always wanted is hard. But some people does get a bit too antsy about it which I think make it harder for them. I try not to be too antsy about it but sometime I was really worried because my order was put on hold for a couple months.
