Picked up 12/8 (arrived 12/4)

2013 SWP STi 5-door with zero options. A dozen people tried to buy it while waiting to get picked up.

Looks like we might have been a bit lucky!

Purchased with 5.8 miles on the ODO

No allocation number

They have no clue where or if its even built

For some reason associated with the delay no options were installed at port, so having all that stuff done on the 21st.

Lol, funny coincidence, but bummer on the lack of car - sorry to hear that. :-( I know I've been waiting on pins and needles for mine. I know how you feel!

Turns out there was a bit of a mixup with the front lip spoiler and rear cargo net missing (apparently missing options is a relatively common thing for SOA), but it's no big deal and my dealer (Smith Cairns in Brewster, NY) is making it right. They've been awesome. I should be picking the car up on Wednesday.

What info are you guys calling SOA with? I didn't get a VON and my salesperson said he'd email me with any new info. It's only been a couple of weeks, so I'm not expecting much yet. Would be reassuring to know that my name was on an order sheet with SOA though. Congrats to those that left the thread this week!

im getting sick of this wait. I am thinking about canceling this **** and getting a WRX on the dealers lot. Why are people who ordered way after me recieve their cars first? Is it possible that my dealer ran out of allocations for the year and is making me wait for next year? I called and asked for an allocation number and they said they did not have one. WTF

Well, Heuberger has a ton of WRXs on the lot, and in transit. Kind of silly tbh.

Some dealer just know how to get more car than other. But I'll be worry if your dealer don't know what allocation you would fall in yet. My dealer knew I was in 201301 a week after my order was placed even though the status was "Hold"

That indeed looks like an sdc von number you will have to tell soa that when you call them for details of course based on who you get, they will either say they can't see anything or that they can see your car has been ordered but don't have any more info. The sales manager at your dealership should be able to get you the info you need pretty quickly thats who you can check with.

My VON is a 9 digit number, I don't know if your region may have anything to do with yours being a 5 digit number

Ok awesome..ill give soa a call and they should atleast be able to tell me if the cars been ordered. I placed an order about a week ago for a 13' Sti sedan base in DGM. is there a certain # we should be calling?

Thats definetly a sdc number but dont be suprised if you call soa and they say ohh since sdc your sdc we have to speak to your dealer, its horse crap, the only info they can get you is if it says ordered or not.

I got extremely lucky, finding the exact one I wanted on a dealer lot about 500 miles away (base WR blue with short shifter and homelink). Not only that, but I was able to negotiate it to base invoice price (so with the options basically 540 under invoice). To top that off, I had a business trip where the hotel was literally 2 miles from the dealership, so I didn't even need to pay to fly down. I took this as a sign from above to go for the STI; I was also looking at the Focus ST, MS3, and WRX. Suffice to say I'll be driving back home instead of flying back.

Obligatory crappy iphone picture. I'll be taking much better pictures with a DSLR once I get home.
